Presentation: Kajola and Sydney

In 2025, AGP staff members Sydney Pascal and Kajola Morewood travelled to Europe and Asia together. In Norway, they stayed at Gåkkå Mathus, a former school on the islands of Hysvaer and learned seal skin tanning with Norwegian and Greenlandic Inuit instructors. In Borneo, they attended the World Eco Fibre and Textile Forum and visited the Rumah Garie longhouse where they participated in a traditional mordanting ceremony with Iban weavers. They will give a presentation on their trips on Tuesday, March 3 over the lunch hour in the AGP.
