Workshop: Mini Doll (Ooskie) Bag Charms

ECU Indigenous students are invited to participate in a mini doll (ooskie) bag charm workshop with fellow student, Eila Vallevand. A link to a sign-up sheet will be sent out to our student email list.

Eila is a multidisiplinary artist and a member of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation. She practices cultural knowledge-keeping in sewing, skin markings, beadwork, and painting: playing with signature cultural motifs from her heritage to inspire her current experiences. Her work has been featured at Vancouver International Airport as well as being selected for the Yukon Arts Centre Permanent Art Collection. Her first solo-exhibition, SWAN WOMAN, was recently on display at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre.
