The Aboriginal Gathering Place allows our Indigenous students to develop and strengthen their identities in a supportive and safe environment.

Emily Carr University is situated on unceded, traditional and ancestral territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples. With gratitude and respect, we acknowledge our accountability to the Host Nations, and the responsibility we hold to be good partners as we live, work, and create together on these lands.
