We would like to welcome you to our extended Emily Carr Aboriginal community and invite you to an informal meet and greet and information session in our new Aboriginal Gathering Place. We welcome all new and returning students of Aboriginal ancestry, which includes status, non-status, Inuit and Métis.

We have arranged for a “meet and greet” lunch/information session on Thursday, September 11 in the Aboriginal Gathering Place from 11:30 – 12:30pm to enable new and returning Aboriginal students, staff and faculty to connect. The Gathering Place is located at the waterfront end of the Foundation hallway…or if you exit the cafeteria back door and look left you will see the neon sign that identifies our building.

Our goal is to be supportive and provide services critical to your academic success and cultural well being. This includes academic tutoring support and a variety of student support services.
